Lupron/Hysterectomy
Posted by: Beverly (IP Logged)

I was prescribed Lupron along with iron pills that I have to take 3x a day. I was told that i had severe anemia and couldn't receive my hysterectomy (due to several fibroid tumors) until my blood count was built back up. I received my first shot of Lupron and my Doc told me i wouldnt get my period. Well i got my period and the cramps seem like they are worse. Im wondering how can i build my blood count back up if im still bleeding heavily. I have been reading some horrible stories from women that have received the Lupron shot and i am getting very nervous about it. Is there anything else that can be done?
